  • Fixed the main reason a phone could not connect: Windows silently blocking TapCam on your network.
  • Installing TapCam now sets up the Windows Firewall permission for you, so pairing works from the very first launch.
  • If Windows is blocking TapCam anyway, the app now says so on the pairing screen and repairs it in one click.

  • First release of TapCam: turn your phone into a wireless webcam for your PC.
  • Connect over Wi-Fi by scanning a QR code, or just plug in a USB cable. No account, no cloud: the video goes straight from the phone to the PC.
  • Link several phones and switch which one feeds the camera with a tap.
  • Record the feed to MP4, pause the output, and keep the app out of the way in the system tray.
